TYROLEAN ZUGSPITZARENA – ON THE SUNSIDE OF THE ZUGSPITZE

Welcome to the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, the holiday region on the sunny side of the Zugspitze.

The main attraction is clearly the Zugspitze, but there is much more to discover:

In summer, the beautiful mountains can be explored on foot or by bike. Hiking and biking are among the most popular summer activities here.

In winter the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is a perfect ski area for families and beginners as well as racing carvers. Thanks to the variety of slopes, everyone will find the right descent here.

Getting here is particularly attractive: as the first ski region in North Tyrol, you can get to the ski paradise from Germany (A7, A95) without a toll or vignette.

Lermoos – skiing, first track, torchlight hiking

Lermoos is known for its diversity. The place combines modernity with tradition and thus offers a wide range of activities, events and infrastructure. Young and old feel at home in Lermoos and come back every year. And that’s how it should be – a second home for our guests.

It is almost 1,000 years ago that Lermoos was first mentioned in a document. But long before that, the Roman road Via Claudia Augusta led through the town, and the commercial travelers stopped there.

Today the ski area on the Grubigstein attracts alpine fans. Cross-country skiers are out and about in the moss. Winter hikers can also enjoy the unique mountain panorama there. The weekly ski show is the highlight of the ski holiday.

In summer, the trails attract numerous mountain bikers to Lermoos. You can explore the most interesting routes with the guides from the local bike school. Hikers are also out and about in the surrounding mountains, for example on the Daniel. Golfers get their money’s worth on the Zugspitzgolfplatz. Another mandatory program: a visit to the panorama pool.

Comfortable or spectacular, the region on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze can be explored by bike as you wish. Do you like it steep and do you prefer to cover as many vertical meters as possible? Then we offer you a variety of challenging single trails in an impressive setting. Or have you just discovered your love for biking in the Alps? Then you are in good hands on the pleasure routes of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. The tours near the valley offer varied routes and a variety of landscapes.

The Zugspitz Arena was checked according to an ISO certified test procedure confirmed by TÜV and awarded the “Mountain Bike Holidays” seal of approval. With at least 20 prepared tours and other standards, the region is ready for its biking guests.
